Get To Know Dr. Danielle McCourt
Originally from Arizona, Dr. McCourt grew up in an Air Force Family. Her family often spent summer vacations in San Diego, which is when she fell in love with what the city has to offer. Her inspiration for pursuing dentistry was her older sister, who was the first to attend dental school.
As her sister trained to become a dentist, Dr. McCourt saw firsthand how dentists are able to combine science and art to improve the lives of patients. She attended the University of San Diego for her bachelor’s degree, and then went to the University of Texas School of Dentistry in Houston for her dental degree.
Throughout her education and work experience, Dr. McCourt has always valued patient relationships. She understands that every person has their own oral health challenges, different past experiences with dentistry, and personal preferences. By taking the time to get to know her patients, Dr. McCourt can provide a truly exceptional level of care.
Outside of the office, Dr. McCourt loves spending time with her husband and three children. They take trips to the beach in Point Loma, explore local parks, and enjoy everything that San Diego has to offer. An enthusiastic reader, you’ll also often find Dr. McCourt with a book in her hand or with an audiobook playing in her headphones.

Your First Visit Experience
What to Expect
Our office is located in a beautiful converted house in a quiet Point Loma neighborhood. Once you enter, you’ll need to check in with our team, then you can relax in our “living room” style waiting area.
When it’s time for your visit, you’ll head back to one of our patient operatories and meet Dr. McCourt. She’ll perform an oral exam to check your oral health, and our team will also take X-rays to look for hidden oral health issues. Then, she’ll discuss her findings with you, and if you have any dental issues that may require further treatment.
After this, one of our hygienists will clean, polish, and floss your teeth. This leaves your smile bright and beautiful, and helps remove harmful plaque and tartar buildup, too. Stop by our front desk before you leave to schedule your next follow-up and you’ll be all done.
